do you have to be good in drawing and painting in order to do good in a sculpture/ceramics class?

Honestly, I am horrible at drawing and painting while my high school requires one year of art in order to graduate. I could take Photography (but it is said that the Photo teacher is very hard). So, I am wondering how would sculpture and ceramics be for me. Please give me some good advice.
